I identify issues that others may not because my income is not based on inspection referrals from realtors. Most Realtors want a thorough home inspector like me to inspect their own investments. A good Realtor wants what is best for you and understands the importance of a thorough home inspection. Be careful of hiring a "favorite " home inspector from a realtor, there are some who would rather a less detailed inspector do the inspection. Do your homework and Hire a tough, experienced home inspector. An independent home inspector is an unbiased professional third party working on behalf of the client's interest alone.
